Asset Care Centre (ACC)
Lotus Asset Management Division provides a maintenance management and improvement service called the Asset Care Centre or ACC. This service is designed to care for your assets through the management of key information generated from within a maintenance department. ACC is a cost effective and value adding service that is an alternative to installing and running your own asset management system or CMMS.
The ACC service is designed to add value by improving work practises and collating, analyzing and reporting data that will result in long-term improvement of asset performance throughout its life-cycle. The service focuses on implementing maintenance best practises and encourages the users to follow best practice at all times.
The ACC service will look after the time consuming administrative duties associated with gathering asset performance data relating to your assets and manufacturing process. The information gathered is turned into knowledge that will add value and give users a competitive edge.
Service Scope
- Facilitate the development of effective asset management strategies to optimize asset performance and utilization
- Assess asset management practises and develop a long term improvement master plan
- Design performance measures to keep score and identify problem areas
- Implement and optimize enterprise asset management and performance monitoring systems
- Develop and maintain an accurate asset register employing asset tracking technologies
- Plan and control all maintenance work
- Review and optimize preventive maintenance programs and equipment operating instructions by applying FMECA principles
- Optimise organizational structures to support modern asset management practises
- Optimise inventory levels and spares management processes
- Implement tool and workshop management practises to support effective maintenance execution
- Conduct equipment failure analysis on an ongoing basis
- Implement autonomous maintenance principles
- Implement effective contractor management principles and goal oriented service level agreements
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
- Facilitate change management initiatives to ease the adoption of new practises
